The Fair features the most important companies, associations and institutions of the media sector. The main topics in 2011 were: 3D, Hybrid TV, IPTV, Mobile Media, Online Services, Production and Streaming. You can visit the fair without costs and registration.

The Night of the Media, the Get Together of MEDIENTAGE , has become the traditional society highlight of the whole event and is held in one of Munich's most magnificent locations.
